16 bit dimmer?

Hello.

I have a dimmer that uses 2 channels per device to control the intensity of LED panels. It uses 16 bits to describe the level of the output.

I am unable to create this in Freestyler. The only available options for 16 bits are pan and tilt. Any tips?

I'm using the latest 3.4.

No freestyler doesn't support a 16bit intensity/dimmer channel

if you open the fixture creator then you go to the Channel description tab and there you can call the channel 16Bit Dimmer.

So...

The channel would be correctly labeled, but it would not be used to do a precise fade for example...

I guess I have to look for some other software that is capable of using 16 bits channels.

Thanks!

I wouldn't be able to do a high resolution fade like this.

no you can not do a high resolution fade with the 8bit and 16bit
