hello,
I'm a new (french) freestyler user, I'm 17, and i've done a little diy light controller:

But I've got a "bug". I use the keyboard to start cue and overide buttons, but the velocity must be 127 to work as a switch, so I must hit the keyboard. I tried to Deactivate the velocity in the keyboard seting, but it set velocity to 85, so it doesn't work anymore. I have searched a programme who set the maximal velocity As soon as the velocity is differente of zero, but i found anything.
Does anyone know something about that ?

(sorry for the bad englisj :oops: )

Hello welcom to the freestyler forum.

there is a realy easy way to set the maximum velocity in freestyler.

if you go to the freestyler directory:
and find Freestyler.ini and open it with a Notepad

now search for

[Midi]
Triggervalue=127

here you can decrease or increase the maximum velocity.

also take a look at Midi ox and Bome's midi translator, you can do allot of nice thing with this software.

Kind regards, Spirit

I have an other question, with the fixture creator: Can we change the name of fader which are in the beam menu, and can we set the pan/tilt fader only to the 127 first value ?
Thanks to the freestyler community =)

you can only change the "channel description"

If you caputure a Note with bome's you will see something like this
B0 00 pp

B0= i don't know
00= Note
pp= velocity

also bome's works with hexideciamale so:
00 =0
01 =1
02 =2
03
04
05
06
07
08
09
0A =10
0B =11
0C =12
0D
0E
0F
10 =16
11
7F =127

(also i use bome's Miditranslator Pro, just search good on the web and you can get one for free)
with Bome's pro you can have:
Incoming messages from the, Keyboard, midi and mouse
outgoing massages, Keyboard and midi. (time code, Midi pages)

but you can realy do crazy stuff with this program only it can be diffcult.
but with the pro version you can also use formulas to achive even more features, also your idea.
ask the people on the bome's forum they also helpt me.

with the classic version you can only chance note's to other note's and keyboard key's. (and pages)

with bome's software you also need to use Midi yoke
