FreeStyler 3.3.2 with Martin Roboscan 1220 RoGo

Dear all,

I have a problem with my Martin Roboscan 1220 RoGo which I would like to control with FreeStyler 3.3.2. I have the Martin DMX Interface and set the product selection to support the Martin Roboscan 1220 RoGo (see page 4 in the German version of the Martin DMX-Interface manual). However, I have no clue what to set DMX-LINK to. I use the DMX4ALL Nano and I have 8 Trackspots and have no problem to control these devices with FreeStyler 3.3.2 and the DMX4ALL Nano. Unfortunately, I've had no luck to get my Martin Roboscan 1220 RoGo up and running with my current setup so far. In addition, I tried with both fixtures (Roboscan 1220 CMYR and Roboscan 1220 XR). Do I need to write my own new fixture for the 1220 RoGo or can I use one of them?

Any suggestions are highly apprechiated.

some martin products have another polarities in the DMX IN and OUT... maybe you have to make a cross cable to get the roboscan to work proberly... check the manual

Hi LJ,

Yes, this is correct. I had to make a cross cable.

In addition, I was able to define a fixture which works for the Martin Roboscan 1220 RoGo which is in some countries also called Martin Roboscan 1220 IIR.

I have attached the fixture and any feedback would be highly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Simon
