F...k! I've shit off the event cause FS hadn't saw the Enttec open DMX interface (I wiggled out only with console).
And all the reason was that a new versions (F,G) of FS doesn't work with drivers coming with my interface from ENTTEC.
So! If you have a message from FS "Open failed" - Download the new drivers from ENTTEC site!!!

Allways best to keep drivers uptodate.
I carry on a memory stick, the latest drivers for enttec, freestyler instalaltion, and my backed up show.
Just in case for any problems i may come across.

Hi

I have just got the enttec open and it is coming up with 'open failed' when i select the interface in freestyler. I have downloaded the latest driver from the enttec site and its still sayin it. I downloaded the d2xx_setup.exe is that all I need to download and install?

Thanks

Don't let windows overwrite the driver with its own, the driver windows supplies is no good.

Oops! For some reason I thought this topic was locked.
I started another thread on it on accident.

The thread I started:
ENTTEC open DMX fail! Thats what I get when I run FS. I have tried running current drivers and no luck. Grrrr! :x

Can someone offer some insight?

For some reason mine just won't work.. I did have it working a few years ago with no problems.
