Please upload a user manual or post a link to one if you can.
I guessing that this fixture is not a 'normal' type like a scan or a moving head. Therefor it will be a little trickier to mae a profile and may not be ossible at all to make a 3d profile.

OK,

This is going to be an extremely hard fixture to create in Scanlibrary for use in Magic 3D.
The main problems I see are as follows :-
1) The fixture has 3 tilt channels, you can only have 1 in a Scanlibrary fixture. So you need to create 3 fixtures.
2) As there is only one light source per fixture, which is OK as we are going to create 3 !!!!

So what you need to do is create three 9 channel fixtures, each with it's own tilt, pattern blackout channels and 1 of the fixtures to have the other defined channels and the others can just have blank channels for the rest. Once you have all 3 created then you need to patch them to the same address. Drag and drop them on the same address, you will get a "cross hatch" image warning you that you have multiple fixtures at the same address but should be OK.

Hopefully that will work and I hope that helps,

I have created shells of the 3 fixtures to get you started. Put them in the FreeStyler\Scanlibrary folder.

Open with Scanlibrary to edit.
Patch each fixture at the same address in 3D Magic Easy view, drag and drop them. A crosshatch will appear but it is OK. Arrange the fixtures to look like the real fixture ?!?!?!?

You will need to define the patterns on the gobo channel on all 3 fixtures, I have put in the "Blackout" (shutter closed).

You will also see the text in the channels that tell you to use one of the other fixtures.

Remember

Hope it helps,

Not a problem, take a look at the DMX Wiki it will help clear up some things. Honestly DMX is actually not that complicated. How it's used in programs etc. is where it can get complicated.

The FreeStyler Wiki is also another good place to get to grips with FreeStyler. People are adding more and more to it. It is by no means complete but with that and the built in help in FreeStyler you should get a good idea on how FreeStyler works. Read dmxlighting's tutorial on submasters it is a very good way to control your show(s).

Remember those fixtures are only for Magic 3D you cannot load them into FreeStyler.

I found a copy of the manual on the Prolight UK website, which is how I got info to create what I did but it does not go into enough detail about the patterns channel(s), just tells you there are 15 patterns. As I do not have the fixture I cannot control it to find at what dmx value the pattern changes, you will need to do that.
