Hi to all!

I have a little problem with my new strobe is a MacMah S1500D.
It is very good, but the only problem is that I can not have control via DMX by FS. I try to create a fixture, but nothing changes, my strobe remains silent to my call.

If someone had an idea where the problem comes ...
I joined my record and file. Pff

Thank you in advance! ;)

PS: If I could have answered quickly, his would simpa because I have a party tomorrow and I wanted to test it by DMX! Anyway if this is not the case, do not worry! ;)

the fixture looks alright.. however the shutter channel is named Gobo1. this shouldn't effect the functions thou.

you have to make sure you have set the addresses correctly in Freestyler and on the strobe. try to set the address to 1, set dip switch 1 on the fixture to on, and set the rest to off. also set the address to 1 in freestyler. now it should work.

if not, can you control other of your lamps with Freestyler?

Thank you, I finally get a handle, a little, the signal ...
I explain, I did what you said, put the strobe has the address 1 and delete the channel Gobo1. At that time still nothing ... I test something else and give all the dip switch on and off the strobe that sets out by DMX ... weird ... all my dip switch is on off and works ...

One problem to resolve but another appears, I do not manage the intensity of light and yet the improvement ... I can not put that light at max or mini!
Can also adjust the speed of flash.

How can I fix this??

Is my fixture in Fixture créator was well set at "strobe" and "intensity channel??

Thank you in advance!

PS: Sorry if my English, not terrible, but I'm French! ;)

A couple of things...

First you could probably use a showtec Jumbo Strobe profile - this is already in the list. I use it with my very similar strobe and it all works just fine.
Secondly - if your strobe is anything like mine - dont use it above channel 200 as it may not work - This is true of my strobe.

You could also use the Stairville Strobe 1500 DMX fixture.

As dmxlighting said, ensure that you have dipswitch 1 on and the rest off. Patch the fixture to address 1 in FreeStyler.
Select the fixture, move fader 2 (Intensity) to full on. Then move slider 1 to adjust speed of flash rate, can use gobo wheel 1 if you patched the above fixture or use the strobe control.

Remember dipswitches might not be "up" for "on" and "down" for "off". Some dispswitches have "on" marked others might just have a "1" meaning on.

Also make sure that you power off/power on after changing DMX address. It sometimes may be required by the hardware which is not able to read the switches while running (only at startup)

So if you would like some support, feel free to ask and we will organize ourselves
I have mine wroking OK with Freestyler. We will then be able to make cross tests.
Staying at your disposal
