This is much like what I was talking about in my fogger thread, about being able to define, through the fixture creator, which channels in the fixture would respond to blackout as well as what the blackout DMX value should be per channel... although I suppose a "Use Macro #X for Blackout" setting for the fixture would be equally effective

So was wondering if this would be a possible idea for a future version of FreeStyler/Fixture Creator, where you could select a macro to be executed when the blackout button is clicked. Obviously this would be on a per fixture basis. So you can either use a channel/value as it is now or a macro.
Again I do not know how much of a program change this would be or even sure if it would be possible.
Its only impossible if there is no master intensity or blackout channel on the fixture. Some of these type of effects do have this option in their on-board personality. For those fixtures that don't, this is a great idea. As you say though it could be a programming headache.
