So, I've successfully set up an M-Audio Trigger Finger to control cues (using 16 available pads on Trigger Finger).

I'd like to be able to use the knobs and faders for various other functions, however I can't seem to accomplish this yet.

In another post, a member suggested that I could type in the note or cc value in the FS midi setup screen. Unfortunately, this option doesn't appear to be available. I can only assign note values based on input from the midi controller (no manual input possible).

Is this "the way it is"? Or can other input their own values?

The same member referenced a beta version. If this is available, I'd be willing to provide some feedback.

You used to be able to do this. I'll test it on my BCF2000 and get back to you.

It is only the beta version where you can assign midi notes or cc values in the midi setup screen , not in 3.0.1.

Let me get in on the beta testing.
