Hey guys,

I have just switched from Light Jockey to Freestyler.

We have a whole heap of lights in the room, which are controlled via a 4-channel DMX dimmer.

They used to work under Light Jockey by making a fixture called "Generic 4-Channel Dimmer" - but I can't find somesuch thing in Freestyler.

I tried "Eurolite Dimmpack 4 Kanaals", and I got a response out of that - but sadly just Fully on, and Fully Off, and nothing in between.


Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

In the add/remove fixtures section go to the "Par 64" category, add the 4 PAR64L (or R) and use that.
Or add 4 single pars. Or parcan's from the Parcan category.

Otherwise, create your own "Generic DMX 4-Channel Dimmer" with the fixture creator. Should take about 30 seconds.

Worked like a charm.
