I do not know if Steve called you or not but, I just added freestyler to my main computer system for my DJ Services. I added the fixture files that I have on my laptop that works great with my par 64's but, The file is not working. I do not have an option for DMX 400. I added the intensity but it does not have boxes to put my DMX values in it. I have set it for 4 channels and it has an box to put channel 4 for intensity but there are no boxes for the values. Any Help?

I firmly believe that there is no one that has ever used DMX400.

If there is, I'd LOVE to see the fixture file they used to get it to work. I'd also like to know what version of Freestyler they are using.

I simply don't believe that DMX400 is an actual part of Freestyler.

Does anyone have v. 2.96H? Could you send it to me?

Ah, your on 2.95.
The right click menu wasnt added until 2.6
in the dmx400 window (if i remember correctly)there is a drop down box and this is the start channel.

set the start channel to your first dimmerble fixture, and the next 3 or 7 sequential channels will be included in the dimmer.
so you will need to put your dimmerble fixtures next to each other. (this version only worked for dimmers)

If you are wanting this to control fixtures which are not is sequential order I.e Shutters on some scanners, you will have to patch some channels.

first setup a dimmer pack, 4-6-8 channels, and set the dmx400 to sequence them.

then go to set-up -> freestyler set-up -> Preferences -> patch

select the first shutter channel and type in the channel number of the first dimmer channel, repeat on all shutter channels required.

click save and run a dmx400 sequence.

Thank you. I will give this a try. All of this time, I've been trying to get this to work, and I was simply using the wrong version. Geez...

Well. I got DMX400 to work. Here's the million dollar question now...

HOW DO YOU STOP IT? Once I turn it on and it starts "chasing" the LED Pars, I can never get it to stop. I've tried "blackout". I've tried closing the DMX400 window. I've tried clicking the "static" button. No luck.

It just wants to keep on chasing those ole' pars. The only way I saw to STOP it was to shut down Freestyler and then restart.

hit the button right above the one you started it with! It says Static

"Static" doesn't work. It just keeps going and going and going until you shut down Freestyler.
