i have decided to buy a pro dmx interface. a friend of mine with a lot of electronic skills also wasn't able to find the components. and it is also not sure that after the modification it wil work properly, so i am going to buy a pro. thanks for the help so far!

Im with the same problem, i test it in the day without the sound on and it runs everything ok, but at night with all the sound power turned on, the freestyler stops working every 1 minute with the Enttec open DMX !!!!


the powered hub can resolve it?

Best fix is simply not using DMX devices that don't have an internal microprocessor. We designed a USB DMX unit smaller than the enttec open but fully compatible with the enttec pro so you get the best of both worlds. Any product that requires attention with a soldering iron should be avoided IMO.

I recommend below ArtNet to DMX interface to replace the USB to DMX device.
