Enttec Open, Eurolite USB-DMX512-Pro or DMXking Micro?

Hello there!

I have just recieved my Enttec Open DMX interface, and it is doing okay for my room, but i am not sure if can make myself bring it with me to a party, as it sometimes just randomly freezes.

So i was surfing around when i found the Eurolite USB-DMX-512 Pro for around the same price as a Enttec Open DMX, so i was wondering if anybody here tried that interface and can recommend it?

Or maybe the DMXking Micro?

Hi

the DMK king pro, Eurolite USB-DMX-512 and enttec pro works on the same FTDI chip.
so if the Eurolite USB-DMX-512 is the cheapest one i would recommend that one.
because the FTDI chip is one of the most stable one's.

I know its an old topic but i also struggle with the "freeze issue" for months now.
Which interface did you buy (eurolite or enttec pro) and did it solve your issue ?

Do you know if the "buffer function" of the enttec is related to the FTDI chip? Because in that case, the eurolite also has the buffer functionality (as its nowhere mentioned for the enttec)

I have used the Enttec Pro and Pro Mark II for many years and have not encountered the issue.
