hey,
so i've had a thought and remembered that my boss has a midi keyboard from when he had a recording studio, but he no longer uses it as he has to give the studio up. I've had a thought and I believe he has M-Audio Keyrig 49 midi keyboard, so i thought what if i could use it for my lighting control?
I know it uses usb 2.0 but just wanted to ask how to set it up for control. I think i'd want to control ORs and mainly things like colours for MHs and strobe if possible, as it would make it more easy by pushing one of the keys for results that clicking through things with a mouse.
So how do i set it up as i'm clueless with midi, never used it before. So go easy
Thanks

Re: Midi keyboard
ahh nice for you, a friend of mine has the same keyboard...
if you like to know more about Midi read this.

if you like to know more, ask again
also take in acount the keyboard can have touchsensitive keys..
so if your going to use BUTTONS on FS you need to press the key on the keyboard as far as possible.
otherwise fs will not notice it as a Button press..
also fs now support all 16 midi channel so up to 2048 midi event can be used (wrong info on the wiki)
