Save manually set lights to a scene

Post by andrewdunn »

Hi
Is there a way, once you have posistioned a moving light and gobo's etc. to add them to a scene without having to write each setting down and then manually enter the values into the scene programming window?

Would this be a useful feature if not there at present.

Great Software Thank You

Regards

Andrew

When creating a scene set the scene to a static scene, there's a tutorial in the tutorials section.
The static scene takes a snapshot of all the attributes of all your fixtures. You can later remove a fixture from a scene by right clicking the fixture and removing it from the scene.

Is Andrew Dunn writing scenes in the offline editor?? Thats why he has to manually input dmx info?

Andrew, make sure the cue list is closed before clicking the Scene Creator, this way, you move the lights where you need them, then Freestyler saves their setting!
