Loading a sequence to 1st scene but no playback

I run several color sequences via a submaster. Each cue is a different color scheme and a different chase pattern.

I'd like to be able to change the sequence (change the color scheme) without actually starting the sequence chase.

In other words, I'd like to start the sequence and then immediately stop it, with one button.
