Features:
- Cue stack arranged in songs with song sections (FS cue files)
- Supports MIDI interaction for Go, Stop, Back, and Blackout.
- Can set default "between songs" and "end of song" cues, as well as "top of show" and "end of show" cues.
- Allows drag-and-drop of FS cue files from Explorer into song sections, as well as re-ordering of songs and/or song sections within LiveCue.
- Has a dark-themed Full Screen mode perfect for use while performing onstage. Includes current cue, next 2 upcoming cues, 1 previous cue, next and previous songs, and the current time. Can navigate through the list with left and right arrows keys.
- Resets Tap Sync with each new song selected so a previous song's tempo doesn't "pollute" the next song's beat.
- Cue files (.FCF) can be located in any subfolders within the main Cues folder.
- Tested with Freestyler 512 or X2 (3.5.6 and up), Windows 7-8.1
- Error generated in performance mode if a song doesn't have any song sections.
- If the MIDI input is not stopped before MIDI interface is unplugged, LiveCue will lock up and need to be quit via task manager.
- A library function where songs can be stored and then selected to create a show.
- Ability to select which monitor receives the Full Screen Performance mode (for those with dual monitors)
I created this software to use with my band. I have used it on several shows now and it has worked quite well for me. For those interested, I run LiveCue and Freestyler on a laptop with a Behringer FCB1010 foot controller for the MIDI input. See the attached picture. I have the Blackout and Tap buttons setup with MIDI input directly in FS, and the Strobe and Blind buttons are programmed to flash override buttons in FS. Since the laptop also is recording audio from our mixer, I leave it over at our sound board and I connect to the Full Screen Performance Mode using VNC on an iPad I have mounted to my mic stand. This setup works VERY well and I haven't had any problems (knock on wood).
I hope you enjoy it and please send feature requests or bug fixes. I will incorporate them as best I can.
Enjoy.
