MIDI Control does not respond

I am using Multiplay for my sound cue and I am trying to trigger the light cues and sequences of Freestyler by using MIDI. I'm able to connect it to Freestyler (3.5.5) and when setting up the MIDI profile, I see appropriate MIDI channels / values change in the when assigning buttons to Freestyler functions.

I can't figure out why when all assignments are defined and confirmed committed, Freestyler won't respond to these commands. E.g. I have a I have tried many options different command buttons, different cues,different sequences. I even tried different velocity values, channels, Note ON/Off and Change Control.
the attached is a mapped MIDI of one options using CC#.
Anybody can help please.
