Hi! Freestyler support American Dj myDMX dongle (based on Sunlite) ? I like Freestyler software, but i don't no how connect myDMX to Freestyler?

I have a Sunlite 2006 interface and Daslight DVC Gold and Daslight DVC2 Gold and non of these get detected by FreeStyler or LightFactory, both these products are meant to support these interfaces, but they do not get detected. Lightfactory told me that I would need a "Generic" Sunlite or Daslight interface that has not been purchased as a "Package". I assume this means the "Developer" interfaces.

well if that is true, they should be able to give you a working firmware version: in most of the cases, the hardware is identical (with the exception of the number of physical in/out ports), but differences are made by using different firmware versions...

UPDATE: Since no one has posted recently on this subject.

A MyDMX interface will work with Freestyler under the 2006 Sunlite Profile.
I had to uninstall MyDMX Software then selected the 2006 sunlite interface and since then freestyler has worked loke a charm everytime, Hope this helps!!!

Hi,

I'm having a American audio myDMX 512 version 2
When I select sunlight 2006 and then reopen freestyler, it crashes with following error:

signature error on dashard2006vb.dll

Can somebody help?

MyDMX 2.0 will not work on suntlite, ask around in the forums to get a better answer, the answer i can tell you from experience is to try each device profile untill one of them works!!!

Or get an enttec open or pro. They work great.

Or better yet get an ultraDMX which is 100% compatible with the enttec pro but better priced and 3 variants to choose from.
