Newbie questions

Hi,

I have installed FS and I have a bunch of questions:

- Why can't I resize any of the windows?

- Is there a way to transfer the fixtures from FS to
the 3d viewer automatically? It seems to work fine if I
add them by hand, but this seems a tedious way to do it.
(The theater I work has DASLight, which uses the same
viewer; launch the 3d from DASLight and the lights just appear.)

- What is the step by step process to create, say, 3 scenes, that fade from 1 to 2 to 3
when the operator activates them.
(Yes, I'm thick, I've read all the help file and the guide...and found only more confusion)
I suspect there is a some concept of the FS operation that I don't grock at this point.

- When I finally hook up to a controller, instead of using virtual mode, do I need to change anything to retain the 3d
function and dmx control?

Thanks,
Mac

Because that would require alot of coding to dynamically resize everything in the window and theres only one developer FreeStyler needs more important things like stability etc than visual appearence after all if the boxes where any smaller surely it would be harder to use!

You'll get no argument from me on stability for FS or any software...

To be honest that part of my question should have been last, since that's it's priority to me.

Matt,

I have tried to PM you...but it doesn't appear that it works. Nothing shows in my "Sent Messages" area.

Could you PM me?

Thanks,
Mac
