Hey Guys

right now, i'm only using Freestyler to parties, but have been asked to make some lights to small bands and stuff.

So want to hear how you use freestyler for stage purpose. Are you using the cue window and/or submaster with some chasers or just using the DMX 400 or what? If you have a midi controller (like BCF 2000), what is the smartest configuration?

I'm only have PAR cans for stage lightning, but want to control some effect in them the best way

thank you in advance

Well, it'll probably turn out to be the long way around but in the theatre I tend to use the cue window filled with 2 step programs. The first step always having the entire rig zero'd (effectively blackout) and the second step creating the scene that I need.

That way I can simply fade in and out by running and reversing the program. Also, crossfading between scenes works out pretty smooth as well. The rig momentarily darkening before bringing up the next setup

I need to get back into the tutorials again and figure out how I can translate this to the touchscreen. That way, random teachers need only press a button to bring the lights on and press it again to fade them out.
