Issue with adding new fixtures into any of my existing locations

Hi Folks,

I recently bought a couple of new fixtures (betopper lm0740d) to add to my existing rig.
I've create a ew fixure profile and all is going well. If I create a new location, I can patch the new fixtures in and everything is hunky dory.

However, when I open my existing programming, any of my existing location files. When I try to click on the "right" arrow in the add/remove fixtures section, it just does nothing. No pop up, no add fixture dialogue or anything.

A bit of testing shows that its not just with this new fixture, I can't patch any other profiles in either. The "left" arrow works fine to remove fixtures, but the add one does nothing.

Is there something I am missing? These locations are a few years old and have been updated over time, with the last update back in November last year. I am hoping it is something stupid I am doing because I really don't want to have to start from scratch! :)

Any advice gratefully received! I've been a freestyler user for well over 10 years but this one has me stumped!
Thanks folks.
Ben

I have no clue but here are a couple of things to try (make sure you have good backups first!)

First, try to drag and drop your fixture to a blank line of the add/remove fixtures window.

If that does not work then try a reinstall of Freestyler as somehow a file might have become corrupted.

Hi rod,

I went out and tried this yesterday and it worked!
What an odd bug. So dragging and dropping worked fine, but clicking the patch button didn't :)

Anyway, I now have some shiny new fixtures to play with in my rig, and they are a lot of fun.
Highly recommended.

Thanks! :)
