I open Freestyler and I see this box every time. I click OK and there seems to be no consequence but it's worrying me with the show next week whether this is an issue that will come back and bite me.

Behind this error box, at the same time, it displays (obscured) a dialogue box "no dmx device connected to universe 2, continue in demo mode?" to which I select no.

I then click OK in this blank error/warning box and I can continue as normal.

Any advice please?

I believe it is stating that you don’t have a dmx interface selected for either universe 1 or 2. Make sure that both universes either have a device or “virtual device “ selected.
