Hi all,

I am new to freestyler having just bought and built a vellman k8062 usb-dmx.

At the moment the only dmx light I currently have is the Purelight Pl182. Unfortunately there isn't a fixture made for this and I don't yet understand how to make one? can someone explain how to make one and/or provide the fixture for this? I have attached the manual

Thanks,

Thomas

I'm no expert, but I tried to create a fixture for you.

It's not complete, but I hope you can use it.
To complete it, you'll have to know what effect it gives for every setting.
(I can't know that since I don't have that fixture and google gives my no useable info)

anyways.... hope it helps a little bit.

Thanks for the fixture. Unfortunately I acn't make it work! I'm using a Velleman K8062 which I build myself but it seems to work (power light comes on the the dmx signal light flashes when freestyler runs). But when I fiddle with the setting in freestyler absolutely nothing happens!!!! Anyone got any advice??

did you try using my fixture? my fixture could be wrong.

maybe you can check the dmx address and add some dimmers to freestyler (like eurolite dimmpack).
if you play with the dimmpack and it works with that, then my fixture is broken.

(try to test with other fixtures like par's if you want to know if the controller is working?)

Controller is working fine as tested with abstract futerscan 1ce's. Cannot get laser to work at all, I just get random patterns!

Hi, this abstract has a problem don't go out more than 255 channels, so if you have made a serial with this and put the lazer next than the abstract, you must choose a number under 255. I've the same problem and... i've cry on show because my moving heads don't move... "never live before testing...".
