I am looking for fixture files but they all seem to have the .pff extension, I presume I need ones with .fxt .
Or am I missing something?

Open fixture creator and go to File => import (or press F8 on your keyboard);

That will ask for a .pff file.

or just double click the pff file and it will autopmatically add the fixture to FS (if fs is already open it may require a restart)

There's fixtures here on the forum, loads of them. Take your pick
