4.1.1 CUE/Sequence Behavior

Recorded a 1 step sequence. Fade up set to 4 seconds. Fade down set to 1 second.

Placed the Sequence in a Cue. Set the sequence loop on/off to on (green circles) and ran the sequence. Watching the OUTPUT window the values faded up as expected. Ran the sequence again and the values faded down as expected.

I then changed the looping to off (red arrow pointing right - which is the way I used to run everything except chases). I then ran the sequence. Watching the OUTPUT window the values began to fade up and then quickly fade down (the 1 second fade down time).

Is this operation correct?

Yes, you looped the sequence so it runs over and over again.

Hej.

I am a bit confused in your description but normally it is so.

If you have a 1 step sequence like "open"

Then if you run that in the cue window with the green circle arrow it will be repeating "open" meaning light "open" all time.

If you change the green circle arrow to a red left arrow the it will only run the sequence once "open" also meaning light "open" all time

As you sequence only has one step the fade time only have an effect on the first step where you come from an other value.
In the repeat mode the fade should have no effect in between the repeats as you fade from a value to the same value.

I think I found my problem. In Version 3 the option in the CUE window must NOT have been to reset the channel values when the SEQUENCE ended. In Version 4 the installation default is to reset the channel values. Turning off that option causes the behavior to be the same as Version 3.
