Many override Buttons on Midi

Hi everybody!
So, I just want to know, How can I map a certain override button on a different page, let's say "Page 3, override button 5" for example, to a certain midi control?
I know I can change the pages using midi. But I have a midi controler with lots of buttons (about 70 I think) And I just want to map each button to do some function without the need to change the page first.
Please help. Thanks!

Put your scenes in all the the slots of the override panel, if you need more than 32 then create another page and fill it. Where your midi shortcuts are appearing makes no difference. You can have 100 buttons on the midi controller then map the buttons to activate the sequence whether it resides on page 1 or 5. In the midi programmer you can select button 3 then page 3 and that will activate the 3rd button on the 3rd page

Hi. Thanks for the reply! That's what I thought, but, I don't think it works.
Let's say you have 50 override buttons. You fill the first 32, and then you start a new page. So, Page 2, button 1, Button 2, 3, 4, 5, etc...
When setting the midi in freestyler, you have only the option to map until the button 32, so how can I map more than that?

the next column over in the midi programmer is "page". You can usually change button colors and on/off status of leds with the ON and OFF columns (values vary depending on controller)

Hi again.
I dont care too much about the led colors. How can I map a button to lets say 33 override buttons?

I wanted to say, how can I map 33 midi buttons to 33 override buttons since there's no "override button 33" in the settings page.

simply put the first 32 on page 1 and the final one on page 2. when programming, map the first 32 as normal to page 1 then on far right of window select page 2 and map button 1 to whatever you want on your midi controller

Thanks again for the reply.
This doesn't seem to work :(
The first 32 mappings work correctly but the next ones simply dont work.
Even if you just want to map a single button to page 2, that midi button will not activate the button on the second page :,( try it please as I might be doing something wrong.
I've been using freestyler for years and making small setups, this is the bigger one and this is the only bottleneck I found so far for what I need. HELP :(

By the way, that's exactly the controller I'm using.

Anyway, if you try to do that, you'll see that when you map the second page, the software automatically clears the mapping for the first page.

The only way for this to work is to select "Page independent" and then map other buttons to change the pages. But again, I'll be using 2 clicks for something that I wanted to use just one. I think you walready understand what I need.

I believe there is an error in the midi protocol somewhere preventing it from happening. I know you can do it with touchscreen but i cannot get it to work the way you want either. Maybe one of the Midi wizards can help out. Also, fill out a bug report and see if Raph can fix

I'm new to this forum/bug report. Could you please do it?
(this could also be useful to you in the future) ;)
Thanks :D
