Activate small Java Program with Freestyler

Dear Community,
As a stage performer I am using high-tech equipment to do a kind of juggling with... we program the equipment to flash to the music.
Then the problem is that this equipment runs on some small java-program, which we have to manually start at exactly the right moment on the music. This while the music and some additional pars are running on freestyler (of course).
We would like to know how to be able to have freestyler starting up our small java-application as well when running the cues. Is there some way of making a fixture (although im not common with this yet) activating an external program? Or otherwise integrate the java-interface in a freestyler-fixture? or ... well is there basically something that could work to fix my problem?
I would really appreciate if you have some idea how to solve this, or if you have some hint where to start???

ps1. java program I'm using is downloadable as the 'ultimate-files' : http://www.globall.com/?articleID=14169&heading=Support
ps2. about the equipment we use, to get a impression see globall.com
ps3. to have an idea about our show, check www.jugglinglights.com
