I have Freestyler running a windows 10 laptop, using uDMX as an output. All the fixtures are created and work as expected. The issue I have is that when I set the moving heads onto any kind of moving sequence or chase, Freestyler stops dmx output after a few seconds. DMX eventually connects again and the sequence continues. This is the same while performing a chase on standard LED lights. I have disabled the laptop from powering down the usb sockets and the problem still occurs. I have installed the same version of Freestyler onto an old laptop running windows XP, using the same uDMX connection, and there is no dmx drop and all the chases and the moving heads perform as requested.

Is there any development for windows 10 to prevent dmx from disconnecting?

make sure you have dot net 3.5 framework installed, Freestyler is dependent on it and does not always let you know it is not installed.

I've checked out the settings on windows 10, and 3.5 framework is installed

I would suggest a better dongle, something with the Enttec chip. 90% of problems I see on this site are with the UDMX dongle
