l need to access the button (on theoverride button setup screen) without using tge mouse

I think you may be able to use MIDI. I am not familiar with how to do so. Hopefully someone who has such knowledge will add to this post. Below are links to the WIKI pages with MIDI information.

You can make a shortcut to any override button via keyboard or midi. If you want the "fade in" option then mark that in the override button options

in override button options you are able to select fade in (experimental) By ticking a box, i need to tick this box remotely ??

Not sure I understand (remotely). You click on the override buttons options and put a check mark next to "Fade in". If you are trying to change it during playback for different results you will be MUCH better served by programming sequences that react the way you want.

Partyman does mean the "fade in (experimental)" option in the override button preferences.

I assume the "fade in" option in external control is for master fade in. So the request is for toggling the override button option from i. e. a MIDI controller.
