hi,
i am a new user of this program.
My question is:
I have a moving head with Rgb Led 3W and a Par64 Led.
I crate a new fixture for a Led Par (theese lighs use 6 channel) and work likely, but i have problem for LED Moving head.
This type are NO NAME Moving Heads and have only ONE channel for RGB values! but 99% of Rgb Led have three channel for color control!!
I have a problem to create the fixture file, becouse the channel control 1670 colors!!
i have seek with a DMX mixer ;) the values of RED, GREEN and BLUE colors and there are the values:
1 - 7: WITHE
8: BLUE
72: RED
133: GREEN
200 - 255 Blue
I likely work with color panel inside the F.s. My Par 64 Led work fine!!
Thank for your support

Probably the only way to do this is creating presets in the colour/gobo selector.
Your not going to be able to use the the RGB Colour picker with this fixture due to the lack of control required to do so.

 i have look the moving head.... she has 13 channels and 3 for RGB values and one for colour mixer...
But i know that the rgb channel are inverted!! example:
if dimmer channel is at the maximun level "255" and the red channel is at"255" the red color is off.
if dimmer channel is at the maximun level "255" and the red channel is at"0" the red color is at maximun level!!!.
i tested this head with a very simplified dmx512 mixer.
Can us tell me for inverting the RGB values for work correct with the F.S.????
thx!!!!!   :ugeek:

it isn't really possible because of that odd combination.... whats the model and manufacturer maybe you can post a manual for someone to have a look at? if not maybe FS could do with a slight mo0difacation on how it does its RGB Settiings...? to accomodate f*cked up lights llike that... hmmmm unless you have a inverse feature for your RGB values a bit like inverse Pan/Tilt

In the manual are descripted all channel, with the values of work, but in the three channel for RGB the values are not mentioned. I sended an email to my supplier and and he answered me that it is precisely the firmware so, with inverted channels for RGB.
