Fixtures not responding to DMX

Hello. I am having an issue getting my fixtures running on the freestyler software. I have a pair of Chauvet Intimidator Spot LED 350s. I took them to my friend to make sure nothing was wrong with the internals of the fixtures themselves and they worked perfectly for him. I’d ask him to help but unfortunately he is also not familiar with FreeStyler. Please help!

Are you using a supported DMX interface?
Is the proper driver installed in Windows?
Is the interface selected in Freestyler?
Is the instrument physically configured to be controlled by DMX (instead of an internal program or sound)?
Does the starting address of the Freestyler fixture match the physically configured address?
If the instrument has multiple personalities does the Freestyler fixture match the physically configured personality?
Did you remember to select the fixture so that Freestyler knows what fixture you are trying to control?

Please use the Fixture Creator to export the fixture then attach the exported fixture file to this thread.
In Freestyler click on the top menu item Output then click on Show output. This will open a window that displays the value being sent to each DMX channel.
Select the two instruments. Using the sliders in the upper right hand corner, slide a couple of them to full and back. Observe the values displayed in the Show Output window for the channels you are changing. Do they change and show what you expect? They should change as you move the slider.

Please replace the fixture you have been using with this one and see if this works.

What steps did you take to install this fixture. I have only encountered this problem when not using the .pff file.
Is Freestyler installed at c:\FreeStyler on your computer? If not, this may be the issue.

I clicked on the .pff file and yes that is where it is installed.

OK. Please verify that the directory c:\FreeStyler\Gobos exists and then see if there is a folder there named Generic.
Thanks

What did you need to do to install the fixture?
Also, attached is the user manual.
Please verify the instrument is physically configured for 14 channel mode

All I had to do was update the software. (The disc I used had an older version) also the instrument is configured for 14 channel

Assuming you have the current version of the interface driver installed in Windows, the only suggestion I have is to completely un-install Freestyler, delete all of its files, download the current version, reinstall Freestyler and reinstall the fixture.
I'm sorry I have not been able to help you.
