Override button not working correctly

Hi All,
I'm running FS 2.96j on WinXP Pro SP2, connected to my fixtures with an Enttec DMX USB Pro.
This forum has been a great help in giving me the steps to set-up the following simple scenario. I want to be able to manually flash all of my par cans (LEDJ PAR64's) with white. I want this flash to occur whatever sequence is running in the cue.
I followed the steps mentioned in a previous post and set-up the following:
1) I created a sequence containing one step with all my par cans showing white. I saved this to the cue list and to an override button as 'parwhite'. The override button is set to 'flash'.
2) I created a seperate sequence containing 6 steps with the par cans fading through various colours. I save this sequence to the cue list as 'parmulticol'
When I go to the cue list and run 'parmulticol' the colour fade from one to the other as expected (I have it looping). When I then use the 'parwhite' override button, it works as expected and switches the par cans to white but when I release the override button, the par cans remain on white and do not revert back to the multi-colour sequence that was running previously. I have even disabled 'flash' on the override button but when the button is pressed a second time to turn the override off, the par cans still remain on white.
My aim was to have a manual strobe setting that I could tap with the beat but this behavior does not allow it to work.
While trying to get this to work I noticed some unusual behaviour with the 'create sequence' window. If the par cans have been overriden and are showing white, if the 'create sequence' window is opened (or closed if it's already on the screen), the par cans revert back to their multi colour sequence ... weird!
I was hoping to get this fixed for a function on Sat 5th June so time is of the essence.
Thanks,
LR
