Hi ,
My name is Paul and am in Australia. I am an absolute dummy with no knowledge of dmx lighting. My daughter's birthday is on this Saturday and I thought that would surprise her with some gobo lights; actually didn't even know about this word called gobo. Anyway spent some time on computer and decided to spent some money and I have bought these items
1) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2016-ne ... .0.ynuSFc bought two of these lights
2) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Lixada- ... .0.ynuSFc
3) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/23DBM-H ... 0.0.ynuSFc
4) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2-4G-Wi ... .0.ynuSFc

Did order this thing - but I haven't received it and it seems I might be in for a shock i that - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Lixada- ... 0.ynuSFc So I have items from 1 to 4 and been reading about freestyler; installed it and to be honest with you - I have no idea at all. Is there any way you could help me. I understand that I need to pay you for creating this thing called fixture. But my problem is even if I get this fixture from you, how would I use that to light up this gobo thing? I did read through freestyler wiki and saw youtube videos, still not that wiser.
1) With the products I have, would it be possible to control two lights remotely at the same time. Please note I don't have male XLR cable.
2) Would love to change the angle of these rotating lights remotely and focus on my daughter, with full circular white light, staying for few minutes without any flickering or rotation.

I have spent much more than I bargained for and now I am stuck.
I am attaching the scanned images of the paper sheet I got with that light.

Thanks for the reply
Paul

You need to install a driver into Windows for item 2 (the DMX interface). Freestyler supports many interfaces and you must select the one you are using from the Setup -> Freestyler setup top menu item. If you don't find yours in the list try the Entec open DMX and/or the uDMX.

You are using a wireless system which means you need a transmitter hooked to the DMX interface and a receiver for each light. Of course these must be compatible and use the same frequencies.

A fixture definition must be created in Freestyler and then loaded onto the Freestyler workspace. The lights must have an address. They can both have the same or they can be different. If different then 2 fixtures must be loaded into the Freestyler workspace (and the correct addresses specified!).

To be honest, your time frame is a challenge given that you have no experience. I, and others, will help as best we can.

I wish your daughter a Happy Birthday.
