The music file is .wav (2.40 Mins)

Machines:

THERES a program called winamp which will snycronise your song with freestyler although the details will need to be filled in by another member.... in german for you maybe

I do have installed WINAMP, but theres no button or something like that links winamp to freestyler.
Maybe i do need a plugin.
however I do need a description for a workarround.

Yeah, Is anyone else having problems with the 2.96j and Winamp connecting? I've enabled everything and pulled up some cues to timecode. I enabled Winamp Timecode in the Options menu and I press the "Winamp Bookmark" button for every sequence to have its own time to be triggered by the song. When I play back the song, only 1 or 2 out of the 20 sequences in the cue get triggered.
Anyone know of anything I am doing wrong, or should I submit a bug report?

I also had problems getting this to work with 2.96J, so I reverted to 2.95H and it works fine

with 2.96H, all you need to do is start the winamp program and and load a song into it. Then open the CUE window in freestyler that contains the cue's you want to use, and to make life easy, have these cue's in the oder you will want them to run.

Then start the song in winamp, and click the winamp icon in freestyler each time you want a new cue to start.

After this, every time you play that song in winamp, freestyler will play the cue's you set, at the time in the song that you have set them

This can take a long time to get right, but is worth the effort for a special song

Good luck !

Cheers

Pete

As of 2.96J winamp is no longer supported and has been removed from 2.99 altogether.
Raph may put it back in once a workaround can be sought.

What versions of Winamp and Freestyler has anyone seen work together?
I can't find any combo that works with the Winamp timecode feature.

I keep installing and removing (from registry too, as far as I know) different versions of both and haven't found ANY
combo that works.

Been trying to figure this out for a few months now,
I'm syncing RGY lasers to individual songs, and it's
amazingly time consuming to do it without the timecodes,
as there are massive amounts of scenes within a song.

So far my best bet has been to have one timecode at the start of the song,
and have the other cues follow automatically after, but even that only
triggers once every 7-10 plays, and it only stays cued maybe 60% of the time.

Anyhow- any ideas you may have would be greatly appreciated-

What exactly is the problem with Freestyler picking up the timecode from winamp?
I don't know much about programming, but I did find a WinAmp External Dmx Plug in
program that does seem to hold the timecode properly. If that plugin can pull it,
(and at 1ms refresh) how cannot freestyler?

I've read every post on the net about "Freestyler" & "WinAmp" and it seems most think
that the output from winamp is the problem.

If this lil proggie can do it, does that mean perhaps it holds the key?
It's the "DMX-512 WinAmp Light Show" plug in @ http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details/139289

Also- for the record, I first downloaded the newest ver of Freestyler and WinAmp.
I have run back through old versions of both and cannot find a working combination,
Guessing a registry issue may be at hand in that issue, Since I had the newest versions first.

Seeing as it must have worked at some point, what were the last versions known to work fine?
Any ideas if trying old versions didn't work for me because of installing new versions first?
