A really weird problem connected with UNICODE support

Hey guys,
I'm having a certain problem. In order to make LEDTRIX display animated gifs properly, I have to:

go to "Control Panel" -> "Region and Language" -> tab "Administrative" ->
in section "Language for non-Unicode programs" click "Change the system locale" and set "English (United Kingdom)".

as described in topic https://www.freestylersupport.com/fsfor ... 9&start=25

After that, Ledtrix works fine. But when I change the system locale to English, I encouter an identical problem as described in topic https://www.freestylersupport.com/fsfor ... php?t=3796

What happens is that fixtures go a little bit crazy when they receive values higher then 127. When I change back the system locale settings to Polish (this is my OS language) the problem disappears and everything works fine. Except for animated gifs in Ledtrix.

Has anybody encountered something similar ? I have no idea how to solve this and have the full funcionality.

Also I can't add it to bug tracker.

I managed to overcome this issue by installing English language pack into Windows and switching it as a primary display language. Posting this just in case if somebody's having a similar issue. Too bad it can't be solved within the programme. Maybe in the future ?

Hej kabook_83

Can you eventually describe the problem and the solution a bit more detailed in the wiki.

There is a LEDTRIX section with some of the information.
