Good day all

Having a problem on a Beamz FlatPar UV fixture - the fixture work perfectly on a hardware controller, but flickers when running it through Freestyler. The channels work correctly, but flicker rapidly (strobing at about 20Hz). Could this be a termination problem?

All my other fixtures work correctly on Freestyler - a mixture of Stagg, Chauvet and Beamz fixtures; no problems with any of those.

Really hop someone can help me with this; I've tried every combination possible in the fixture creator and it won't stop flickering..

...just made a DMX terminator and plugged it in. That's not the problem

I don't know what DMX interface you are using but under "Setup" -> "FreeStyler Setup" -> "Interface Setup" -> "Advanced" there is an update rate.

It can be that FreeStyler are sending faster that you fixture can handle.

You can try to change that.

Can you upload the fixture file to see if something wrong with it?

Two questions:
1. How is the behavior when you terminate Freestyler?
2. Did you try to connect only this device to the interface and run Freestyler?

Which dmx-usb interface do you use?
