I have a question. I'm trying to learn Fixture Creator as well as Freestyler DMX. I took an LED light (Mystic LED) and went through the steps in various tutorials. I know the file exists-I want to learn HOW to do it.

Here's where I'm stuck. the Mystic LED is a 4 channel LED. The DMX value chart is below:

My question is this. On Channel 2 is a color wheel/gobo (diff. combinations of LED colors, actually) , UNLESS Channel 3 Rainbow effect is active. Then Ch. 2 becomes a speed control for Channel 3's rainbow effect.

How is this done? Logically, it's an "if/then" argument. I'm not sure how this translates to DMX values or controls. I did attempt to create this fixture which I attached below, but It's not doing what it's supposed to do.

Can someone help me help myself? Thanks!

Try using macro's. Set ch1 value to 255 (LED ON), ch2 to desired color value, ch3 to 0 and ch4 to desired rotation. Make a second macro (third, fourth and so on) for the desired effects. Try finding images that reflect the settings to identify the macro's or name them 1-2-3-4. Good luck![emoji256]

I agree, you can use macros and in addition you can use the strobe channel (ch 1, value 2 - 127), the gobo channel (ch 2, value 0 - 255). For all functions that do not fit into existing categories use macros

Sometimes you only realize when creating the scenes, which functions still have to be implemented in the fixture. Try it out and test what is easiest and fastest to use for you.
