New to dmx and freestyler

hello, I bought a 8x10w moving beam from ebay."no-name" chineese model and a 15$ dmx to usb interface. If is there anyone using this kind of adapter http://www.ebay.com/itm/DMX512-Pin3-1M- ... SwgQ9V4CII , can you tell me which one is from freestyler's list of adapters?
I use cheap stuff because I want to start learning and for the moment I can t afford professional lights and interfaces, I hope this won t be a big problem. Also, any sugestions how should I make a fixture for those lights? I only have this manual
and no ideea where to start with the fixture creator.
