Where's the Data?

Yes, I'm a newbie. Just started playing with FS to use with a friends Blues band.
I decided that I should move FS into its own account on my Win10 pc so I can lock off all my somewhat more delicate data while I'm at gigs. For the life of me, I can't work out how to move my "working" installation to the new account. Everything I've tried has failed .. moving data files, moving fixture files, importing, exporting, backing up and restoring.
This also means that the structure I have is not being backed up in a way that is restorable .. backup is useless. This does somewhat worry me.
Does anybody happen to know where the data flow goes????
