ADJ tripar profile plus, not working with tripar profile originals

OK, so I got 2 of the newer ADJ tripar profile plus fixtures which required a fixture profile that only works with FS 3.6.2, so I've upgraded to 3.6.2. I"ve put together a couple of sequences and they work fine. And they work fine with the sequence put into a cue. But they aren't following the sequence when the cue also contains a sequence with the original tripar profiles. The one on address 108 is doing something other than what I programmed. The one on address 114 does nothing. But both follow the program in sequence mode.
Weird, I would try different DMX cables, but they work fine until combined with the older models. I haven't tried them with other fixtures yet, because my plan was to use them all on the same light bar together. I've never seen anything like this with other fixture combinations so I'm baffled. Could it be an anomoly with 3.6.2?
