FSx2 not listening to Korg NanoPAD2

I'm able to program notes and FS MIDI setup responds (v3.5.9), but the buttons don't react in the cue. I've updated Windows7, Sunlite 2006 driver, Korg driver, all with no result. I've followed the setup instructions that suggest to change the Korg's settings using Kontrol editor. I was unable to find a transpose setting to adjust, but did change the other settings. MIDI control setup does respond and shows 127 for a value when pressing a button on the Korg.
What am I missing?
