Cues don't take over fixtures after direct control

This has stumped me the entire time I've been using FS but I've never sat down and worked on it long enough to sort it out, I just restart FS.

If I minimize my touchscreen and select a fixture and turn it on/off, change colors, etc, normally it doesn't revert to what I've got programmed in a chase. I had actually set up a 2 page touchscreen once so I could easily switch over, grab fixtures and manually pop them onto a color or something but as soon as it didn't work anymore in a chase I just deleted the page and left it alone. This weekend I had a similar situation where I turned the 4bar on to all white for a guest performer before our show, and I turned the Swarm on and then manually turned it back off. When we started our first set the 4bar returned to what the chase was doing but the swarm did not and after the first set I restrted FS and the swarm worked. There has to be a simple tick somewhere I'm not setting that would correct this and I'd appreciate someone cluing me in.

Thanks

You must hit the blue triangle at the top of the screen to release commands. The software thinks you overrode for a reason and until you release with the blue triangle it leaves what you have done alone. I hope that made sense

Just tested that Partyman and it doesn't seem to do anything. The Release All icon doesn't light up when I select fixtures and select macros or anything.

hi i tested it and it seems to work OK at my side.

Besure if you test it to run a Seq. if there is no Seq running the "triangle" will not pop up.
read this it explains the OVERIDE system on Freestyler.
