FREE STYLER WONT START

No matter what I do, freestyler will not start up. It just flashes on the screen for half a second. then crashes. Ive tried uninstalling, deleting the registry and changing the value to true. Nothing is working. Please help. Windows 8.1 here

Which version are you trying to start up? I know that the 3.5.9 version works just fine on 8.1.
Do you have another computer you can try it on? When you install, did you right click on it and say "run as administrator" ?
