Bluetooth app connection problem

I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 to use as a remote for Freestyler and bought the bluetooth version of the app. I can't seem to access my desktop from the app. I made a connection between my PC and the tablet and I open the app and see the controls but for example, when I tap on fixtures or cues, the tablet does not show the fixtures or cues I have saved on the computer. I have freestyler open and i can see the fixtures and cues but the app on the tablet does not.
