Whenever I try to connect to Freestyler via bluetooth the app on my phone says it is connected to the bluetooth remote however it is not. The app even says its connected when Freestyler and/or the bluetooth remote are not running on my laptop. I have tried unparing and reparing, rebooting both computer and phone. I have even tried the app on my tablet. Still the same problem. Not sure what to do at this point.

Hi, Did you pair via the app or via Android? I have found that pairing via android is the most reliable.
I have had some instances where the phone does not successfully install in windows check your bluetooth devices and ensure your phone is listed and working by sending a small file between windows and the Phone.

I had exactly the same problem and searched online for a solution.

The Windows Firewall occurred the problem.

I have both FS and the Bluetooth Server Software added to the authorized software/applications in the Windows Firewall, restarted the PC and everything worked.

Guys tell me what's wrong? did everything as recommended on the website when you install Freestyler and connect Freestyler DMXRemote Bluetooth. Freestyler512.exe is BETA version 3.5.7 To use simply copy the exe into your freestyler program directory.
FS_BlueTooth.exe and InTheHand.Net.Personal.dll are the Bluetooth server files. These can also be coppied into the Freestyler Program directory.Run freestyler 3.5.7 or above first.
then start FS_Bluetooth.exe . But something is not working(((
