Enttec DMX PRO widget strange behaviour

Hi all,

I work with a Pro enttec widget, and every time I start the PC, I have problems to make it work. It is detected everytime I plug the widget, but most of the time, I end with a yellow exclamation mark :!: on the usb device, and it's not working.
I tryed with 3 different laptops, and it's always the same. First it installs everything, the yellow mark in the computer management/ devices.
I have to unplug it and plug it back several times before the yellow mark disappear. (sometimes more than 150 x !!!!!)
Also tried all drivers I could find, but still the same, on the 3 laptops.
But once the yellow mark has gone, it works very well .... Any idea ?

bad usb cable?
faulty device?

If its the same fault across three different machines, then try eliminating the common element.
either USB cable, OR hardware.

I allready changed the usb cable, but same behaviour.
Strange that once it is recognized, it works for 8 ours without problems.
I only have one enttec pro to use, so it's the only piece of hardware I cannot change.
Did somebody came across that problem allready ?
Perhaps flashing the device would help ? Did somebody flashed is device ? any problem doing it ?

Nederlanders zijn er ook hoor hier.
But I'll answer in English.

What you are doing wrong? You did'nt read the manual. Thats what you do wrong.
See: http://www.enttec.com/docs/dmxusbpro_manual.pdf

It just stands there, how you need to configure.

Just to make it clear; the DMX USB Pro is actually an USB to Serial converter, so in windows it will become a COM:X.
