How to make this USB DMX device work, drivers, etc

Hi,
I have got to borrow some lighting fixtures, and also have a USB DMX device. The USB device appears to be this one: http://www.amazon.com/Sunwin-Dmx512-Int ... B00A0F907E , but I don't have any drivers. The vendor ID is 03EB:8888. According to the Amazon page, it should work with libusb-win32 drivers. I've installed them, and it shows up as "D512" under "libusb-win32 devices" in device manager.
Are any more drivers needed, or does Freestyler talk to the libusb API?
If it's supposed to work like this, which interface option should be selected in the Freestyler setup dialog (USB-DMX, uDMX, .., most are checked and don't work right away). By not working, I mean that the lights don't respond. The USB-DMX option gives an error message, uDMX does not, many others requires a COM port, which the USB dvice doesn't have.
Hope someone can help
Thanks,
Marius
[The comments on Amazon say that this is a quite bad interface, but the goal is only to get some lights on and experiment a little, so I think it will be sufficient]
