Setting up cues to a tempo or song

Hi all,
I'm trying to setup cues using (if possible) a set tempo. Or setting it to a winamp as timecode.
I have tried different songs with timecode but can't get it running. Is there a tutorial anyone can suggest reading or can anyone suggest anything.
My aim is to have a few cues set with set tempos which I start via a midi controller with the cue set to change the sequences.
