Compatible with resolume?

Is it possible to input video from another source into a matrix? I have not used any of these plugins but I am curious if this is possible

If you have anything you want to "Play" then you have to convert it to an animated gif file (If I recall correct).
And it is not large images you can run.
You have 512 channels available and that give a matrix of 13x13 pixels.
