Foot Controller

Can anyone please recommend a basic foot controller to use with Freestyler. I would also appreciate any info on how to set this up i.e. I am assuming via a laptop and a DMX interface. Just trying to offer a band a solution to use FS live. Thanks very much in advance for your help.
